Shane Cerone, MHA

• As President of Beaumont, Royal Oak, Shane led one of the nation’s largest teaching hospitals and referral centers. Under his leadership, Beaumont was consistently ranked as a national leader in care quality and safety by the University HealthSystem Consortium (now Vizient), in the top 1% for clinical reputation by US News and World Report and as a top 1% performer in affordability by the RAND Corporation.
• Led the financial turnaround of a community health system, transforming a 20% operating loss into positive cash flow margin within 6 months.
• Led an operations improvement transformation for an East Coast Academic Medical Center resulting in a 10% increase in top line revenue by rapidly enhancing patient throughput in a busy quaternary care center.
• Led a community health system through the COVID-19 pandemic. The system was the first to achieve full staff vaccination and opened the largest single vaccination site in the state. Operations were maintained throughout the pandemic and virtually no agency staff were utilized.

Cory brings extensive executive experience to Kada Health as a Director, Vice President and CEO of numerous facilities. Dedicated to ensuring that healthcare organizations thrive, he helps health systems, hospitals, and physicians successfully open and operate outpatient facilities, including Imaging Centers, Office Based Laboratories, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Hospital Outpatient Departments, and more.

• Cory served in roles as CEO of an ambulatory surgery center, CEO of a surgical hospital, and a Vice President of Operations leading a large multi-state region of acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, Office Based Laboratories, and Management Services Organizations, partnering with major health systems and physician groups.
• He has lead and developed customer-focused and innovative award-winning teams who have delivered:
  • Award winning patient safety and clinical outcomes rankings,
  • Top decile patient, physician, and employee satisfaction scores,
  • Cost containment, year-over-year improved profit margins, and
  • Robust financial success leading to strong partnership distributions.
