Kada Health is heading to the east coast as a sponsor and panelist for the 2025 National Alliance Annual Forum, hosted by the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions, in Arlington, VA, November 10-12. The annual forum draws in more than 80 speakers and more than 400 attendees representing nearly every state in the U.S. It serves as a bold space to encourage employers and purchasers to spark big ideas, change convention and forge powerful connections to improve healthcare affordability, especially for America’s working families.
Shane Cerone, CEO of Kada Health, will speak on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in an hour-long panel open to all conference attendees titled, “No More Blank Checks: A Movement to Rein in Hospital Prices,” alongside:
- Melissa Duffy from The Alliance
- Margaret Faso from the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions
- Charles Miller from Texas Employers for Affordable Health Care
- and Estevan Rodriguez from Monterey Beach Hotel, UNITE HERE Local 19
Addressing Rising Healthcare Costs: What Can We Do Better Together?
Working families and businesses across the country are feeling the pressure of rising healthcare costs. The current system leaves employers with little leverage to negotiate prices and are left to see how conflict begins limiting transparency and accountability.“No More Blank Checks” brings together employer leaders and policy experts, like Kada Health, who are challenging unsustainable pricing and advocating for employers to become the driving force for achieving affordable healthcare while protecting access to high-quality care.
The session reflects the same solutions-focused dialogue that drives Kada Health’s mission and guides our work every day.
We know rising healthcare costs are a top workforce issue for self-funded employers, but through our employer-led programs, we help with:
- Lowering total plan spends through direct contracting and transparent pricing
- Simplifying plan design and making benefits easier for employees to navigate
- Creating continuous improvement incentives for providers
“Sustainable affordability is built through partnership,” said Shane. “Kada Health works with employers and health systems to translate pricing transparency into practical contracts that lower spend, simplify decisions for employees and reward providers for measurable improvement over time.”The forum will hold several sessions throughout the days, and themes include:
- Healthcare affordability and pricing reform
- Data, transparency and accountability
- Innovation and emerging technologies
- Value-based care and delivery reform
- Health equity and population health
- High-cost claims and complex care
